Networking is a key element of the MSc Global Management & Digital Competencies (MGM) experience at the ESB. On 25^th March at the annual MIM/MGM Alumni Event the current students had the opportunity to network with a range of “Old Boys and Girls” from Bosch, PWC, Accenture, /thoughtworks, Mercedes Benz Management Consulting, Mazars, Philips and Danaher.

The students learned about their predecessors’ career paths as well as the opportunities: jobs, internships, and master thesis topics that their companies offer. The general message was loud and clear: We are hiring and we need you!

This was the first chance to be able to host a live networking event for the programme this semester. Due to Corona several other hook ups have been virtual. The upside of this has been that the current students have been able to network with far flung places like Japan. However, everyone agreed that face-to-face is so much nicer and that it is much easier to have a relaxed conversation over takeaway pasta sitting in the sun than in front of a computer screen!
