PAKILIA – A success story of two graduates

28th November 2013

Two double degree graduates, Julia Maier and Miriam Müller (UDLAP-ESB double degree program), founded their own company in Mexico: PAKILIA. They sell sterling silver (0.925) jewelry following fair trade principles, with a high-quality standard. Their products are ideal for festive occasions, special presents or simply more shine and joy in everyday life. Each precious piece is unique because it is hand crafted exclusively by jewelers in Taxco, Mexico. The word “PAKILIA” means “to give enjoyment” in the Aztec language from which it originates. The jewelry not only makes you, or the recipient of your special gift, happy, but also provides future security for the craftsmen and their families in Mexico.
