Overview of the international financial environment, the theoretical and practical aspects of the various international financial markets and the impact of the international environment on the financial decision making of the individual and the firm.
Lectures, discussion, 3 hours per week.
Restriction: open to BBA students approved to the Finance concentration, General Management concentration, International Business concentration and BBE Financial Economics option students until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BAcc, BBA, BBE, BCB and combined Business majors.

Causes and consequences of conflict in organizations, and strategies and tactics to manage conflict. Emphasis on the use of bargaining and negotiation skills to manage conflict and resolve disputes.

  • Prepare a short statement outlining your reasons for wanting to participate (submit with online application)
  • Ask one of your instructors to complete an Academic Reference Form for you (on Sakai)
  • Apply online (no need to wait for references to be submitted)

Applicant Profile
Goodman students must be in good academic standing (70% minimum major average for BBA/BAcc and 75% for MBA students) to participate in an exchange. BBA/BAcc students can choose to go in 3rd or 4th year. The recommended semester for all Co-op students to participate is Fall of 4th year.

Brock University Student – INBOUND

Inbound Exchange Learner Profile
Exchange students must be in good academic standing at their home IPBS institution (70% minimum major average for undergraduate and 75% for graduate students) to participate in an exchange.

Once you have been nominated by your school for an exchange at Goodman, complete the online application. Someone will then contact you with more details. In addition to the online form, you will need to send:

  • Transcript
  • Proof of English proficiency if English is not your mother tongue
  • Resume/CV
  • Passport sized photo

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Proof of English proficiency if English is not your mother tongue:

  • Undergraduate: 88 on TOEFL ibt or 6.5 on IELTS
