On Saturday, 25th March the ESB Business School held its annual MIM/MGM Alumni Event. This time in the campus’ Werk 150, the business school’s very own learning factory.  The event links current students of the MSc Global Management & Digital Competencies (MGM) with alumni of both this programme and its predecessor programme, the MSc International Management (MIM). The hybrid event had speakers from Bosch, John Deere, Porsche Consulting, Allianz, Schwarz Gruppe (Lidl, Kaufland…) and BCG and gave the current students first hand insights into the speakers’ personal career paths and the opportunities that their companies offer qualified applicants. The message from all speakers was clear: lack of German skills is no barrier to a successful career in Germany and a start in Germany can be generally used as a springboard to international assignments. This was great news to the current international class of MGM students.
