Since the University’s founding over five decades ago, the Management School faculty and students have worked at the frontiers of knowledge and practice, challenging conventional wisdom and contributing to future best practice. The faculty consists of academics with outstanding international reputations, and our graduates are successful in every sector and every region of the world.

LUMS has a complete range of programmes: general and specialist, undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes in business, management, accounting, finance and economics, as well as a large doctoral programme. We also deliver innovative customised executive and leadership education for large organisations, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

The Management School is consistently ranked in the UK’s top 10 as well as being among the world’s highly ranked management and business schools.

In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021), we were ranked as the top business school in the UK for ‘research power’, and 90% of our research activity is judged to be world-leading or internationally excellent.

Lancaster is one of the few business schools in the world to hold quadruple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS, the Association of MBAs and the Small Business Charter.
