Student Engagement

Student voice, participation and leadership

The IPBS Student Representative Lead was rebuilt in 2019 and since then acts as a representing, and administrative body for all IPBS-wide student-led activities with the aim to connect IPBS Students throughout the network and to empower the community spirit. Moreover, it is the connecting body between the IPBS universities and the students as the Representative Lead attends the semi-annual IPBS Meetings and strengthens the IPBS network and fruitful exchange between universities, professors, programme directors and students. This allows to take the students voice actively in the decision-making process into account with regard to the best shape of their educational experience.

Upcoming Events
(either organizing or representing)

There are various events thoughout the year which the IPBS Student Representative Lead either organizes or is represented at:

  • TechTalk
Tech Talk with the IPBS Student Representative Lead via the Better Together Platform.
The goal is to connect the students worldwide with short sessions with alumni / current students / professors and get an insight into the IPSB network. For our first session we had organized a “Day in the Life with….” the COO of Intel, Christopher Schell. Around 50 students participated in the short talk with one of our most famous alumni.

The following sessions will be advertised via email through your local representatives and LinkedIn:

    • IPBS Student Forum in March 2023
After a first edition in 2020 we are bringing back a crowd favourite. One day of career advice, networking and short sessions with successful alumni from our network in Madrid.
      More information will follow soon!

  • IBWE 2023
IPBS Student Council supports the IBWE (short for International Business Weekend). In April 2023, the International Business Weekend (IBWE) will take place in Spain. 500 students will arrive from Europe’s leading business schools to spend a weekend participating in sports competitions and networking events.
