How do you believe we can expand the female presence in academic and leadership spaces? In the Professional Doctorate in Administration at FGV EAESP, the WDBA (Women in Doctor of Business Administration) is more than a group, it is a network of support and transformation, formed by 19 executives who decided to go beyond the classroom to make a difference. Created by Mel GirĂŁo, the group unites women who balance career, personal life and studies, promoting mentoring and inclusion.

NEOMA is pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership with a major player in the retail sector: the Casino Group, which brings together many renowned brands (Casino, Spar, Vival, Monoprix, Naturalia, Franprix, Cdiscount, etc.). This partnership extends a collaboration already initiated in 2024, as Monoprix sponsored a competition for students on the occasion of the Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities.

Goodman Proof to Discuss Workplace Procrastination
Misalignment between employees’ beliefs and values and those of their employers could be one of the causes of procrastination behaviour in working environments. These issues will be explored during the first Luncheon Speaker Series talk of the winter term.
Friday, Jan. 10, Distinguished Professor of Management Dirk De Clercq will discuss findings showing that some employees who feel as if they do not fit into their organization can become less productive as they plan to quit their jobs.
Published in numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on entrepreneurship, innovation management and organizational behaviour, De Clercq is on Stanford University’s list of the world’s top two per cent of scientists in terms of citations over the course of a career. Dublin City University Business School has had an incredible start to the Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC)) in Burlington, Vermont.
Congratulations to Dr Catherine Faherty and the team made up of David Byrne, Evelyn Keane, Sarah Muldoon and Rory Mulhern who have secured top place on both days, outperforming tough competition from leading universities like the University of Alberta, Utah State University, and Ohio University.
On day one, the DCU team kicked off the competition with a stellar performance, finishing hashtag#first in the Oak Division and earning 8 points. Yesterday, the team continued their winning streak, once again topping the group in round two.
This prestigious competition, hosted by the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, challenges students to tackle complex family business cases, demonstrating their expertise and teamwork on a global stage. Our students have shown incredible focus, preparation, and determination to reach this point.
