Poole College welcomes over 900 new students
2nd September 2013Enrollment continues to remain strong for Poole College’s undergraduate and Jenkins graduate programs, with a total of 926 students entering the college this fall. Facts and stats about our incoming students follows.
Office of Undergraduate Programs
Admitted 358 new freshmen and 172 off-campus transfer students, with an average GPA is 4.36, and 36 percent of the incoming students were in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating classes.
International Programs: Nearly 50 students are studying in Poole College from European business schools. Thirty-two are exchange students attending Poole College for their study abroad experience; nine are attending Poole College as part of their international business dual degree programs. Three of these students are from the ESB Business School in Reutlingen, Germany, and six are from the Reims Management School in Reims, France.
International Programs: Five of Poole College’s new students began their studies at NC State, in preparation for completing their final two years at a Poole College partner school in Europe.
Two are in a French track; two are in an Italian track, and one is in a German track. Read more about the dual degree program on the Office of Undergraduate Program’s International Programs website. Three students are participating in a new dual degree program between Poole College and SKEMA, a French business school with its U.S. campus on NC State’s Centennial campus.
