For the first time, Elon University is ranked as a National University in the annual U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” guide. Elon debuts at #84 among the nation’s most prestigious comprehensive universities, with a #2 ranking for excellence in undergraduate teaching. For the fifth straight year, Elon is the leader in the “Focus on Student Success” feature – the only college or university in the nation recognized for excellence in all eight categories of high-impact academic programs. The university will also open a new facility soon. The LaRose Student Commons is to officially open on Sept. 16.

Over at Lancaster University, five students will spend a year at the top of the business world thanks to a new partnership with Fitch Ratings. The university also ran a business support programme had them work with around 700 SMEs and helped inject almost £1/2bn into the regional economy.

Brock University launches a drone certificate program. The course presents a unique opportunity to acquire detailed knowledge and hands-on experiential learning about the safe and legal use of drone technologies for real-world applications. The university is also launching a new Criminology degree and one of their Economics students, Parker Deabreu, was awarded a prestigious exchange opportunity to the U.S.

The ESB is celebrating the 20th Birthday of The “Association for the Promotion of International Management Training”, which been supporting management education at the business school. The initiative is designed to bring together the ideas of clever students, renowned companies and scientists.

The DCU Business School Student Tom Finucane Scoops Enactus World Cup Prize.

The UCSC has signed two new Double Degree agreements: one with The University of Western Australia, for the Master’s degree in Management, and one with Thomas Jefferson University for our School of Medicine. They’ve also been awarded funding for three projects launched by the 2019 Erasmus Plus program and managed to make the top 500 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as Shanghai Ranking.
