What were your personal highlights of your internships?
My personal internship highlight was a six month stay with Bosch Power Tools in rural China. Apart from the professional experience I learned how to deal with the Asian habits that are totally different from our European culture. In fact, the soft skills I acquired in the far east have been proven extremely beneficial in both personal and professional environments.
What makes the IPBS Programme special?
The most valuable asset of the IPBS programme is primarily its diverse, dedicated and interesting student body. It is astonishing that you meet characters which share common ground but are simultaneously highly individual in their experiences, interests and future goals. The element of intensively passing time with foreigners from all over the globe broadens perspectives and opens up doors for views which one never believed existed before.
Your message to current and prospective students
Take the initiative. All IPBS schools share the belief that students should be engaged where possible. Dedicate time for student clubs and resorts, get involved into numerous academic and out-of-class activities and shape the best four years of your life!
