RED ROSE BUSINESS WEEKEND 2013

From 8th to 10th March 2013, Lancaster University Management School held the Red Rose Business Weekend, demonstrating Lancaster’s most creative and entrepreneurial students, as well as some of our fantastic alumni. There were Business Challenges organised and judged by our sponsor companies, some of the most prestigious employers in the world, including IBM and Saatchi & Saatchi. Every team taking part in the competition had the chance to win a cash-prize and opportunities to spend time with our sponsor companies to establish valuable connections, whilst gaining an unforgettable experience.

The event also provided students with the opportunity to listen to sought-after guest speakers and network with their future employers over an exclusive gala dinner. The competitors demonstrated their team-working skills, creativity, analytical thinking, presentation skills and problem solving abilities to succeed in this competition. They had the chance to broaden their networks and build relationships with people from some of the top universities in the UK.
