🌍 New colleagues, new cultures and an experience that begins in Facultad de Empresariales (Comillas ICADE).

The students of 3rd year of E4 – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management with International Mention have started Soft Skills, a subject aimed at the development of personal, communicative and professional skills.

🤝 A day of integration between national and international students, including students from the IPBS Network – International Partnership of Business Schools network, to start working from the first day on essential skills such as communication, teamwork and interpersonal relationships.

🥂 A meeting that ended up sharing a cocktail and, above all, creating new connections. Welcome to this new stage in the Facultad de Empresariales (Comillas ICADE).

 ESB Business School at KES 2026 in Dublin

How reliably does artificial intelligence work? Can it not only solve legal tasks, but also evaluate the answers of other AI systems? And what determines whether companies actually use AI?

With these questions, ESB Business School was represented at this year’s KES International Conference in Dublin with several research contributions.

Together with Sascha Schweitzer, Blanca Bueechl and Luisa Hoffmann Vicente, I presented results on the performance, reliability and error structure of language models in legal tasks as well as on the use of AI as an evaluation authority.

Silas König and Jörg Büechl presented their empirical study “The Hidden Driver of AI Adoption: Data-Centric Decision-Making in Cloud Environments”. Their central finding: Technology alone is not enough for the successful introduction of AI – a consistently data-oriented decision-making and corporate culture is crucial.

Different perspectives, but a common question: How can artificial intelligence be integrated into decision-making processes in a way that is not only powerful, but also reliable and responsible?

The exchange with researchers from many countries has once again shown how valuable the combination of technology, management and law is – and how strongly ESB Business School is positioned at these interfaces.

It’s that time of the year again – the IPBS Fall Meeting is currently happening at Brock University | BrockU – our partner in Canada.

All the Program Directors are there to talk about the future of IPBS and how they can improve the program.

International Conference on Public Economic Theory (PET 2026), held by FGV EPGE.

During the International Conference on Public Economic Theory (PET 2026), held by FGV EPGE, researchers and students had the opportunity to closely follow discussions with international references in the field including Nobel Prize winners in Economics Lars Peter Hansen and James Heckman.

The event also celebrated the trajectory of economist Aloisio Araujo, an international reference in the area, recently honored with the Sonnenschein Service Prize, granted by the Econometric Society.
