In the UK, the Lancaster Management School has discovered an interesting correlation between stress in social media and addiction to it. Members of its latest Productivity Through People (PtP) cohort visited the Rolls-Royce factory in Barnoldswick as part of their 12-month programme. The programme features visits to three internationally renowned industrial partners – BAE Systems, Siemens and Rolls-Royce – allowing them to see how all three have transformed their workplace by putting employee engagement at the center of their improvement processes.

Angélica Castro Méndez, a recent graduate from Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP), presented her thesis on metabolic syndrome before the experimental psychology group of the Inter American Society of Psychology (ISP), earning the Charles Darwin Award for young researchers in experimental and compared psychology. One of the Universities Faculty Members, Iván Oropeza Pérez, was named an Editorial Committee member of an Asian architectural magazine

At NEOMA, the end of the academic year often provides an opportunity to look back over the past year. It is also a time for the Incubators to present the year’s key figures and recall some of their projects. The Incubators are people that are supposed to help students start their own companies and to date, they have hosted 102 start-ups.
