Top Goodman School of Business at Brock University students were recently inducted into our Beta Gamma Sigma chapter 🏅

BGS recognizes the top 10% of undergraduate and 20% of graduate students at AACSB institutions worldwide, and on June 13, 97 inductees were recognized for their academic excellence at Goodman’s ceremony.

Goodman alumnus and 2016 BGS honouree Jason Sparaga (BBA ’93) welcome this latest induction and shared some inspiring words.

“Learn from the world around you, lead with honour and passion, pursue with purpose, do something not because it’s easy but because it matters,” he said. “Because in the end, it’s not about the degree you started with, it’s about the impact that you leave behind.” Finance lecturer Geoff Hoover and Associate Professor of Accounting Linda Stillabower were also recognized as BGS Professors of the Year, alongside several faculty members inducted into Goodman’s BGS chapter. The Elon University Board of Trustees has elected Cam Tims ’00 to serve a four-year term on the board.

Cam majored in business administration at the Elon University – Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. He now owns Worth Generation Group, a real estate investment company in Raleigh, N.C., and serves as managing director of the interior design firm of Hue Home Interiors. Associate Professor Robert Steinbauer received the 2025 Goodman Faculty Teaching Excellence Award Friday, June 13 during Brock University‘s 117th Convocation 🎓

The business ethics educator took shortcomings from his own childhood education to develop his current-day teaching philosophy.

“Unless students talk, we can’t learn from each other, and my opinion is no more important than your opinion,” he shares on the importance of student participation.

Steinbauer’s efforts to support student learning include up-to-date readings and videos about timely issues, class projects with local non-profit organizations and virtual reality simulations. Please join us in congratulating Professor Steinbauer 👏

From 18 to 21 April 2025, NEOMA Business School took part in the 33rd edition of the Challenge Ecricome,

The Challenge Ecricome  is a major student sporting event bringing together the schools of the Concours ECRICOME network: EM Strasbourg Business School, KEDGE Business School (Bordeaux and Marseille), MBS School of Business, Rennes School of Business and NEOMA Business School (Reims and Rouen).

This year, the ECRICOME Challenge took place in Bordeaux, and the delegations won not one, but two trophies:

🏆 The SPORTS trophy for Reims: rewarding the delegation that has won the most titles in the nine sports disciplines (athletics, basketball, cheerleading, e-sport, football, handball, rugby, tennis, volleyball).

🏆 The AMBIANCE trophy for Rouen: celebrating the fervour, energy and unity of the delegations, highlighting the unwavering support of the students towards their teams.

👏 A big thank you and congratulations to all the participants, organizers and supporters who contributed to this collective success. These trophies reflect our desire to push our limits and proudly represent NEOMA

Università Cattolica among the best 450 universities in the world

The QS World University Rankings 2026 has just been released and sees the Catholic University continue its rise that has been going on for 10 years now. The University reaches position 409 in the world, growing by 33 positions compared to last year.
