Opportunities and Challenges in Doing Business in North Carolina
Robert Sandruck arrived in Piacenza on Wednesday 9th April and, before recovering from his jetlag, he held a seminar to High School and undergraduate students, where he explained how the economy of North Carolina changed over time, focusing on how companies are doing business in the new economy. Finally, he shared how North Carolina State University and other Universities like Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill currently provide a strong academic and research partnership to local businesses.
Le Luxe Français
Two days later, on April 11th, prof. Alessandra Spagnolo could not have chosen a more French topic than the luxury. She showed to an audience of about 140 students how the luxury market developed throughout the French history with its regional nuances, and it is still flourishing despite the economic crisis that spread over Europe.
