Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) Piacenza campus was founded in January 1953.

Its flagship programs in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences and Economics are very strong, due in part to their research centres, specialized labs, and teaching methodologies.

Numerous internship and exchange programs such as Erasmus, Summer Programs, bilateral exchanges with non-E.U. institutions and the Double Degree in International Management are offered in order to allow students to employ and improve their acquired knowledge and skills throughout the globe.

Courses

Management of Italian excellence: seminars

The aim of the course is to provide students with an understanding of the key characteristics of the Italian industrial and business contexts with a focus on the key industries (fashion, furniture, food & beverage, etc.). The course explores the features and challenges of Made in Italy and addresses the peculiarities of the Italian business system (SMEs, industrial districts). Furthermore, it provides an overview of corporate growth modes of Made in Italy firms.

    1. Student must be enrolled in a post-graduate degree (Master of Science or 4th year Bachelor) at their home university.
    2. English must be at least at B2 level and it is preferable to hold one of the following certifications: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 85.

Academic admission requirements:

      1. a good level of english is required. If english is not your first language, or not the primary language of instruction at your current home university, you must provide evidence of B2 or equivalent English language proficiency or above.
